“We are excited to invite you to our hybrid CARICOM-Canada Policy Forum under the theme ‘Climate Change and its Impact on International Security.’ This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from diplomats, academics, and experts from the Caribbean and Canada as they exchange views and discuss the vital relationship between climate change and international security.”
In a statement, organizers of the forum noted, “The outcomes of the Forum can be used to establish a pathway for CARICOM and Canada to work with international partners – including multilateral organizations – to advance discussions on the promotion and maintenance of international peace and security in the context of the impacts of climate change.”
