Travis Kelce is said to be in talks to invest into a Caribbean hotel resort after a vacation with Taylor Swift this summer. Kelce has had a busy offseason, while traveling Europe with his pop superstar girlfriend on tour, as well as multiple holidays together, The Daily Express US reported on Thursday, July 18, 2024, in an article written by Charlie Wilson.
The NFL star is appearing to make use of his added income after signing a new deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kelce has explored numerous ventures away from football throughout the offseason, including being in an upcoming horror TV show in what will be his acting debut while looking to invest in numerous projects, one of which appears to be a hotel in The Bahamas after his holiday with Swift earlier this year. The U.S. Sun has reported that Kelce is currently in negotiations to become a representative for one of the resorts after admitting his love for the islands.
Earlier this year, he said: “You know what? It’s just a lovely place down there, isn’t it? You can get it all down there. All the love in the world.”
Kelce is said to have been in talks with the resort for numerous months since he left from his vacation – and is reportedly looking to get involved in other resorts across the world, including in Thailand, Greece and Barbados.
The legendary tight end has no current plans to walk away from the sport anytime soon, signing a new two-year deal with the Chiefs this offseason, but has admitted he’s approaching the end of his career in the league.
Drafted 11 years ago, Kelce had immediately become a dominant pass-catching tight end – emerging as one of the best players in the league once Patrick Mahomes joined the team in 2018.
Kelce and Swift have been away from each other for the past two weeks with the latter continuing her tour in Europe – which comes to an end next month after over a year.
The Chiefs will return to training camp this weekend, beginning Kelce’s season in which he looks to make NFL history by winning a third consecutive Super Bowl – the first team in NFL history to do so.
