“I was honored to share my Sunday afternoon with such a great gathering of women, as we continued celebrating our 50th Independence Anniversary with a Tea Party under the patronage of First Lady Anne Marie Davis.
This tea party served as a testament to the enduring power of love, strength, and a tribute to the journey taken together as Bahamian women.
Over the past half-century, The Bahamas has weathered ups and downs with grace, resilience and unwavering dedication to her citizen. As we raised our teacups in a toast to this remarkable milestone, we have to salute Bahamian women for embodiment of these same achievements and characteristics.
I extend Congratulations to Her Excellency Hon. Leslia Miller-Brice and the 50th Independence Secretariat for another stellar event.”
