KINGSTON — Laurie Peters (right), Canadian high commissioner to Jamaica, accepts a photograph featuring the Jamaican Hummingbird done by University of Technology (UTech), Jamaica Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Technology (BACAT) final-year student Shorn Hector. The photograph was presented to Peters by Chevauni Blair (left), BACAT final-year student, following the high commissioner’s keynote address at the opening ceremony for the 4th annual Communication Arts and Technology Final-year Student Exhibition hosted by the Faculty of Education and Liberal Studies, UTech, last Thursday. The exposition included publications, radio and television documentaries, digital animation, web designs, and media campaigns.
