We had to share this of Dr. Rosanne Adderley, Professor African Diaspora History at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was posted on Facebook on Tuesday, May 15, by Jon Michael with the following caption:
“What an amazing and incredible afternoon I got to spend talking with Tulane Professor of African Diaspora History, Dr. Rosanne Adderley. Our conversation about The Spirit Photographer took place at one of my favorite bookstores in the country — Community Book Center, which has been a thriving gathering place for the black community in New Orleans for over 30 years. Thank you to Vera Warren Williams and everyone else at Community for welcoming me and hosting this wonderful event.”
Dr. Adderley is the daughter of the late Paul Adderley, one of The Bahamas’ most prominent lawyers and politicians, certainly would have made her an extremely good choice.
