WASHINGTON, D.C., November 1, 2019 — Behind ever great baseball pitcher there is a wonderful woman who keeps him happy and contented to perform at the best of his ability. In the case of Max Scherzer, die-hard Washington Nationals fans like myself owe a great deal of gratitude to Erica May Scherzer, to whom Max Scherzer – currently one of the best pitchers in the Major Leagues – has been married since November 23, 2013. The couple has one daughter, Brooklyn May-Scherzer. They are pictured with the Nationals World Series Championship Trophy on the flight from Houston to D.C. after the Nationals historic victory.
