A REMINDER THAT NATURE OFTEN DANCES TO ITS OWN TUNE

The view on the southern shores of Freeport, Grand Bahama, this morning that inspired this excellent article by T’Shar Cuccurullo.

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, October 25, 2023 — Good morning my dear friends! One moment, we were sweltering in the scorching summer heat, desperately trying to stay hydrated under the blazing sun. The days were filled with the sizzle of hot sidewalks and the refreshing sounds of ice cream truck jingles. But in the blink of an eye, it seemed as if summer vanished into thin air.

Now, as we gaze out the window, a different scene unfolds. A chill hang in the air, and a dark cloud looms ominously, threatening to unleash a deluge. It’s as though the very heavens themselves can’t decide whether to cry or let the sun burst forth in all its glory.

Looking at the forecast, it’s reminiscent of the Bahamas, where the weather can’t make up its mind. It promises rain, teasing us with the prospect of a day spent under a gray veil, only to change its mind at the last moment. Suddenly, the sun emerges from behind the clouds, a radiant spectacle, as if it had been waiting for the perfect dramatic entrance.

So here we are, awaiting the grand return of the sun, much like the opening act of a captivating show. It’s a reminder that nature often dances to its own tune, leaving us in awe of its unpredictability. As we embrace this meteorological enigma, we’ll have to see what surprises the day has in store.

In the meantime, I will sit and savor my freshly brewed Bahama Joe, aka, coffee, while enjoying a few moment of relaxation.

Wishing you all a splendid day, my friends, full of unexpected wonders and delightful moments.

HERE’S ANOTHER POST BY TA’SHAR CUCCURULLO THIS MORNING

Good morning, friends,

Here is a little something to think about while you sip your morning coffee.

Listening is an art that unfolds when you least anticipate hearing what you needed to hear. You might not always hear what pleases you, but it’s crucial to heed what you have heard, so that you can move forward in your life. If you possess the discernment to recognize when what you hear is genuinely what you needed to hear in order to make the most significant decisions of your life, you will avoid disappointments no matter how badly you may have desired something. You must comprehend the speaker’s thoughts, feelings, and perspectives. People often restrict listening to the ear, but I advocate for listening by watching one’s actions and words, as they constitute the entirety of the art of listening. Have a beautiful day.
