NASSAU, Bahamas — MP for Yamacraw Zane Enrico Lightbourne posted a collection of photos on Facebook on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, and we decided to share some of them  with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and, of course,  The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. Mr. Lightbourne posted the photos with the following narrative:

Under the theme, “The Leader in Me”, a special assembly was held at Albury Sayle Primary School on Friday to welcome Minister of Education and Technical and Vocational Training Glenys Hanna Martin, Acting Director Dominique McCartney Russell, and myself. The students entertained us with a variety of dance routines, skits, and song selections during the assembly.

We delivered words of encouragement to the students and praised them for their performances during the assembly and their recent achievements in sports and encouraged them to walk with confidence and self-assurance as they make their way through primary school and into high school.

We would also like to thank the teachers, administrators and support staff for their outstanding work at the school.

Keep up the excellent work Albury Sayle Primary!
