AMBASSADOR COLLIE MEETS WITH ALTERNATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE WORLD BANK GROUP

WASHINGTON, D.C.– His Excellency Sidney Collie, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS), met with Donna O. Harris, the Alternate Executive Director at the World Bank Group, on Monday, February 4, 2019, at The Bahamas Embassy, 2220 Massachusetts Ave., N.W. Since November 2018, Ms. Harris, a Guyanese national, has represented Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the World Bank. Ms. Harris and Ms. Ronette Jordan, Advisor in the Office of the Executive Director, discussed the mandates of the World Bank Group and gave an overview of the Bank’s Strategy 2030 Vision.
