AMBASSADOR COLLIE MEETS WITH INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY EXPERT

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 9, 2019 — His Excellency Sidney Collie, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS), met with Mr. Ted Kidane, Head of Sales at InnoWave, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the Embassy of The Bahamas, 2220 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W.

Ambassador Collie and Mr. Kidane discussed ways to use innovative technology to build smart cities and communities in the aftermath of natural disasters. During the first week of September, category 5 Hurricane Dorian caused catastrophic damage in Abaco and Grand Bahama, two major islands in the Northern Bahamas.

Based in Alexandria, Virginia, Mr. Kidane is an “Experienced Sales, Marketing, & Business Development professional skilled in new product introduction, alliance development, customer service, strategic planning, and contract negotiation,” according to his LinkedIn profile.
