WASHINGTON, D.C., February 15, 2024 – His Excellency Wendall Jones, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, was among the distinguished guests who attended a reception, educational presentation, and advanced screening of BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE movie at the Motion Picture Association (MPA) headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, February 13.
In addition of Members of Congress and state officials, also attending the event were U.S. District Court Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, the presiding Judge over former President Donald Trump’s New York criminal trial, and her sister Dr. Robynne Chutkan-Mann, both of whom were born in Jamaica.
BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE movie celebrates the life and music of the iconic Jamaican musician who inspired generations through his message of love and unity. Produced in partnership with the Marley family and starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as the legendary musician and Lashana Lynch as his wife Rita, BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE officially opened in theatres on Wednesday, February 14.
