AMBASSADOR JONES EXTENDS CHRISTMAS GREETING FROM THE BAHAMAS TO SECRETARY OF STATE BLINKEN

WASHINGTON, D.C.  — His Excellency Wendall Jones, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, on Thursday, December 14, attended a diplomatic reception at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C., hosted by U.S Secretary of State Antony J Blinken.

Ambassador Jones used the occasion to extend Christmas greetings from The Bahamas and the Bahamian people to Secretary of State Blinken and the American people.

In welcoming the envoys in a spirit of peace, friendship and diplomacy, Secretary of State Blinken said, “You know the power of partnership and we must all work on all that brings us together.”

Secretary Blinken thanked the Ambassadors for making huge contributions to the cultural life of Washington, D.C., where virtually every country around the world has an embassy and diplomatic representation.
