WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 14, 2023 — MP for Seabreeze Leslia Brice, Chairperson of The Bahamas Independence Secretariat, posted a collection of photos on Facebook on Thursday, September 14, 2023, that I absolutely had to share with readers of my online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
Mrs. Brice shared the photos with the following narrative:

In this milestone Golden Jubilee year, we aspire to forge a partnership with Carnival, in collaboration with the Independence Secretariat, to invigorate Bahamians with national and cultural pride through a diverse array of events and activities.”
