ANOTHER GRAND DAY ON GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, Dec. 1, 2022 — Downtown Freeport came alive today as Solomon’s Downtown officially opened its doors to the Grand Bahamian public. Excitement filled the air as company executives and the Minister for Grand Bahama, Hon. Ginger Moxey,  cut the bright red ribbon to a bustling new era for Downtown Freeport and the island of Grand Bahama at-large.

Highlighting the significance of the grand opening, Minister Moxey labeled this major accomplishment as a necessary catalyst for revitalization in the downtown area.

The Minister applauded AML Foods and Milo Butler Investments for making this opening possible, and reiterated the  government’s “commitment to revitalizing our islands and their economies.”

Dozens of shoppers filled the new grocery store as the cultural sounds of Junkanoo music mingled with the inspiring ambiance of hope that filled the air, just seconds after the doors became ajar.

It was indeed  another GRAND DAY on Grand Bahama Island!
