NASSAU, Bahamas, October 29, 2019 — His Excellency Bruce Lendon, Non-Resident High Commissioner Designate of Australia to The Bahamas, called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Darren A. Henfield, MP, on Monday, October 28, 2019 and presented his Copie d’Usage. Later in the day, at 4:00 p.m., he presented his Letter of Introduction to Prime Minister the Most. Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis.

Minister Henfield and the High Commissioner discussed a range of issues, including Hurricane Dorian, climate change, small island developing states, the use of per capita GNP as a matrix to determine wealth and Australia’s International Coral Reef Initiative, according to a post on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Facebook page.

H.E. Bruce Lendon, who is based in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, succeeds H.E. John Pilbeam as the Non-resident High Commissioner of Australia to The Bahamas.
