WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Bahamian American Association of the Washington Metropolitan Region (BAAWMAR) Board paid a courtesy call on Bahamas Consul General Theo Neilly and his staff at the Consular Annex, 1025 Vermont Avenue, N.W., on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
Representing the Association’s Board were Chair Katarlah Taylor, Vice Chair-Membership Hanna Baker and Vice Chair-Communications Mikhail Bullard. The Association representatives and Consul General Neilly discussed several opportunities for partnership within the course of the coming year and agreed to strengthen collaboration on diaspora engagement and increasing the visibility of The Bahamas in the D.C. metropolitan area.
