BAHAMAS BRASS BAND FEATURED IN HURRICANE RELIEF CONCERT IN HOUSTON TONIGHT

The Bahamas Brass Band performed on Sunday morning, November 24, at First Metropolitan Church in Houston.

HOUSTON, Texas, November 24, 2019  — The Bahamas Brass Band will perform in a Hurricane Relief Concert tonight at the Church of God of Prophecy, 4610 Sunflower Street, Houston, beginning at 6:30.

This was confirmed in a post of Facebook by the Hon. Lynden B. Rose, Bahamas Honorary Consul General to Texas, who also noted that  the band performed at First Metropolitan Church in Houston this morning and congratulated Senior Pastor John Ogletree and Mrs. Ogletree on celebrating “33 years anniversary in the Christian Ministry.”

A poster on Facebook promoting the concert stated: “Calling all Bahamians. Together let us rebuild The Bahamas, Better Than Ever.”

The poster noted that the concert is “being presented by Ebenezer Foundation 242 in conjunction with the Ministry of Tourism” and will feature other guest artists.
