BAHAMAS CONSULATE IN ATLANTA THANKS AMBASSADOR JONES “FOR ALWAYS SUPPORTING OUR MISSION AND EVENTS”

WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 17, 2024 – In his capacity as the top Bahamas diplomat in the United States, His Excellency Wendall K. Jones, D.C. – based Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, participates in as many events as possible sponsored by the various Bahamas consulates across the United States.

He was in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, September 7, for a Bahamian Homecoming event hosted by the Bahamas Consulate General Atlanta.at Cane Ridge Park in Nashville.

In a post on Facebook announcing that Ambassador Jones would be participating in the event, Bahamians in the diaspora were invited to, “Join us for a day filled with conversation, dancing, delicious food, and celebration with this inspiring leader who’s dedicated to uplifting the Bahamian community and shaping a brighter future for The Bahamas.”

Also participating in the event was the Hon. Pia T. G lover-Rolle, Minister of Labour and the Public Service.

Thanking both Ambassador Jones and Minister Glover in the narrative that accompanied a video on the event, Bahamas Consulate General Atlanta stated, “Special thanks to Minister Pia Glover Rolle for sharing incredible opportunities with the diaspora and college students. That’s exactly the type of conversations we want Bahamians to believe in. Ambassador Jones, thank you for always supporting our mission and events.

On behalf of Consul General Anthony Moss and the Bahamas Consulate General Atlanta, thank you Tennessee. THE BAHAMAS IS BIG IN TENNESSEE.”
