LONDON, England –The Hon. Jeffrey Lloyd, Minister of Education, hosted a reception for Bahamian students from several universities in the United Kingdom at the Bahamas High Commission, 10 Chesterfield Street, Mayfair, on Saturday afternoon, January 26, 2019. In tweet on his Facebook page, His Excellency Ellison Greenslade, QPM, Bahamas High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, described the event as “an enjoyable afternoon of fellowship and delicious Bahamian food.” Minister Lloyd and Dr. Marcellus Taylor, Director of Education, were scheduled to return to The Bahamas over the weekend after participating in several education-related meetings in London.
