WASHINGTON, D.C., May 28, 2024 – Keson Tinker, a Bahamian businessman, singer, and actor who has spent the last 18 years in China, today posted a collection of photos on Facebook that were taken at a: Media Appreciation event organized by the Embassy of The Bahamas in Beijing, China. I absolutely had to share them with readers of my Washington, D.C. – based online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
In the narrative accompanying the photos, Mr. Tinker noted: “Currently proudly representing Team Tourism at two major events in China: A Media Appreciation Event organized by the Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Beijing and ITB China 2024 in Shanghai – one of the largest travel business expos in the world. The Bahamas is open for business and we’re here to let the world know!”
Mr. Tinker, who is Service Officer with The Bahama Ministry of Foreign Affairs, studied Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture at Donghua University, Shanghai and is bilingual.
