By OSWALD T. BROWN

WASHINGTON, D.C.  – The Office of the Prime Minister in Nassau, Bahamas, posted a collection of photos on Facebook on Monday, November 27, 2023, that I absolutely had to share with readers of my online publication, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.

The photos were posted with the following narrative:

Nation builders are the architects of our future, cobbling together the dreams of a people with dedication, sacrifice, and vision. Today, at the Golden Jubilee Independence Award of Supreme Honour Ceremony, we celebrated the contributions of 102 exemplary nation builders who laid the foundation of our nation’s 50 years of sovereignty, which we continue to build on today.

The Bahamas is forever grateful for their contributions.
