BASRA NORTHERN BAHAMAS CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVRSARY OF BAHAMAS INDEPENDENCE

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama — BASRA Northern Bahamas posted a collection of photos on Facebook on Sunday, July 23, 2023, taken during a cocktail and cake-cutting reception held in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Bahamas Independence. We decided to share some of them with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. Under the  distinguished patronage of Bahamas Defence Force Commander Commodore Dr. Raymond King, RBDF Northern Command held a cocktail & cake cutting reception in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Bahamas Independence. The well attended gala took place on Saturday, July 22, 202,3 at Christ The King Hall Pioneer’s Way, Freeport, Grand Bahama.

At the event representing BASRA Northern Bahamas were Adam Miller, President (and his wife Tatiana); d’Von Archer, Vice President; Christine van der Linde, Secretary; and Public Image Director David Mackey, who also shot the photos with the assistance of Tatiana Christie.
