BEL CANTO SINGERS PUT ON AN OUTSTANDING CONCERT

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 17, 2023 — Under the patronage of the Hon. Fred Mitchell, Bahamas Minister of Foreign Affairs, the renowned Bel Canto Singers put on an outstanding concert in Washington, D.C., this afternoon.  Entitled “Road to 50”, in celebration of the golden jubilee of the independence of The Bahamas, the choir with founder and conductor Eldridge McPhee performed at First Baptist Church, 712 Randolph Street, N.W.

In his remarks following the concert, Mr. Mitchell praised members of the group for a world-class performance and thanked them “for an evening of great music.”
