BISHOP NEIL C. ELLIS TO RECEIVE LIFETIME GLOBAL INFLUENCER AWARD

Bishop Neil C. Ellis retired as the founding Sr. Pastor of Mount Tabor Church in Nassau, Bahamas, in December 2022.

TULSA, Oklahoma, February 28, 2023 — Bishop Dr. Neil C. Ellis will be recognized among prominent black leaders and ministers who have influenced the global Pentecostal movement.

The announcement was made by The Alliance for Black Pentecostal Scholarship and Oral Roberts University, as part of the 2023 Annual Society of Pentecostal Studies Meeting.

More specifically, this honorary recognition nomination for the Lifetime Global Influencer Award, affirms the consistent, dedicated and sacrificial work of Bishop Ellis, in influencing the world through ministry and leadership over the years.

The special award ceremony will be hosted at The Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 17, 2023.

Bishop Ellis retired as the Founding Sr. Pastor of Mount Tabor Church in Nassau, Bahamas, in December 2022, after serving for over 35 years. He is currently The Presiding Prelate and Leader of The Global United Fellowship, a global multinational, non-denominational Christian reformation, with more than 1,400 churches and organizations in 42 countries.

The author of over 15 books, he is also the recipient of the 2010 Trumpet Award for Spiritual Enlightenment and is the youngest living inductee in the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame located in Atlanta, Georgia.
