BUTLER SAYS STUDENTS NEED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPPORTUNITIES IN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

 

FREEPORT, Grand  Bahama — District Superintendent of Education for West Grand Bahama and Bimini, Ivan Butler, believes that students, today, are not embracing the opportunities that are there in the educational system, the Freeport News reported September 5.

In a candid interview with this daily prior to the start of the 2018/2019 academic year, Butler shared his thoughts on The Bahamas’ present day educational system and where the country is as a developing nation, with respect to education.
