CABINET MEETING HELD IN GRAND BAHAMA

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama — Prime Minister the Hon. Dr Hubert Minnis and members of his Cabinet met in Freeport on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the aftermath of an information meeting held at the Foster B. Pestaina Centre Monday night on Carnival’s proposed “Grand Port” which is expected to create 1,000 direct and indirect jobs during its development. At the Cabinet Meeting, the Hon. Kwasi Thompson, Minister of State for Grand Bahama in the Office of the Prime Minister, said the information meeting was significant enough for the entire Cabinet to be present.  Prime Minister Dr. Minnis (sixth from right) and other Ministers are pictured at the start of the Cabinet meeting.
