CANADA’S MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS HOSTS CHRISTMAS RECEPTION FOR DIPLOMATS

OTTAWA, Canada – The Hon. V. Alfred Gray, Bahamas High Commissioner to Canada, and Deputy High Commissioner Chanelle Brown were among the diplomats who attended a Christmas dinner reception hosted by the Hon. Melanie Joly, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Thursday, December 8,  that was attended by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

 On its Facebook page, The Bahamas HC-Canada noted: “The Holiday-Dinner Reception in honor of the Diplomatic Heads of Missions, hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Honourable Melanie Joly, was a special event in the city of Ottawa.

“High Commissioner Gray was warmly greeted and welcomed to Ottawa by the Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.  Deputy High Commissioner, Chanelle Brown, was also greeted by Prime Minister Trudeau as they briefly discussed her time serving the High Commission.

“The High Commissioner joined his fellow CARICOM Heads in the festivities and had many discussions with dignitaries from across the world and Canada.”
