NEW YORK, N.Y., June 19, 2024 – Hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) from June 16 – 21, Caribbean Week 2024, being held under the theme “Connecting the Globe, Celebrating Diversity,” is currently generating a great of excitement in New York as it showcases a lineup of events and business meetings centered on the critical issues shaping the evolution and growth of Caribbean tourism.
The discussions provide opportunities for both participants and attendees to have a robust and strategic dialogue on topics such as sustainable tourism, marketing strategies, and the role of technology in the industry.
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation is a headline sponsor, and Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper, who is also Minister of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation, represented The Bahamas at the prestigious Minister’s Forum on Tuesday on Leveraging Artificial Intelligence, with discussion focused on AI’s impact on the travel and tourism sector and how customer experiences transform through AI, along with how AI increases operational efficiency and drives innovation.
Also participating in the AI forum were CTO Chairman Kenneth Bryan, Minister of Tourism & Ports for The Cayman Islands; the Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism; and Mr. Lee Hall, founder of Clarity Media Agency. The discussion was hosted by Ms. Jennifer Bisram, a reporter.
