BUCHAREST, Romania — The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Government of Romania signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Monday, March 11, 2019 to advance areas of technical cooperation, including technology, research, climate change, disaster management and agriculture. Thereafter, a joint Press Conference was held with the Secretary- General to CARICOM, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque (left); His Excellency Theodor Melescanu (centre), Romanian Foreign Minister; and the Hon. Darren Henfield, Bahamian Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR).
