CENTRAL BANK REPORTS FAMILY ISLANDS TOURISM BOOST

 

NASSAU, Bahamas — The Bahamas’ tourism industry has been experiencing marked success during the first several months of the year, and according to the latest data from The Central Bank of The Bahamas, the Family Islands are showing a significant uptick in visitor arrivals.

According to the Central Bank’s Quarterly Economic Review (QER) for the second half of 2018, total arrivals to the Family Islands expanded by 28.4 percent to 0.6 million between April and June, which is a reverse of the 0.7 percent decline experienced in 2017. https://thenassauguardian.com/2018/09/27/central-bank-reports-family-islands-tourism-boost/
