WASHINGTON, D.C., July 26, 2020 – I was compelled to share this post by CHANCES GAMES on its Facebook page because it provides me with another opportunity to publicly thank R.H. Culmer, CEO of Jarol Investments Limited, operators of CHANCES GAMES, for being the first advertiser in BAHAMAS CHRONICLE when it was launched in 2017 and for continuing to advertise. Clearly, this post confirms that R.H. fully understands the promotional value of advertising.
BAHAMAS CHRONICLE is the online publication of THE BROWN AGENCY LLC, the public relations and marketing company I started when my tenure as Press, Cultural Affairs and Information Manager at the Embassy of The Bahamas in Washington, D.C. ended after four-plus years following the change of government in The Bahamas in May of 2017. It was launched to keep Bahamians and nationals from other Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries living in the diaspora up to date on selected news from their respective countries. Since then, BAHAMAS CHRONICLE has developed a huge following across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
I lived in Grand Bahama for 12 years prior to relocating to D.C. in 2013, and because of advertisers in Grand Bahama like CHANCES GAMES and the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA), BAHAMAS CHRONICLE has been regularly highlighting news generated in Grand Bahama, especially given the fact that the Freeport News, the daily newspaper in Freeport, appears to have suspended publication in Grand Bahama because of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic in The Bahamas.
Although Grand Bahama is currently locked down for two weeks as a result of COVID-19, I am sure that there are other businesses in Grand Bahama – and indeed The Bahamas generally – that can benefit from advertising in BAHAMAS CHRONICLE. We have very affordable monthly rates, and advertisements are published daily throughout the month. We also have excellent rates for personal promotional articles as well as for publishing press releases. For more information, I can be contacted at: oswaldb317@gmail.com.
Let me also take this opportunity to publicly thank my friend and Rotary Club of Lucaya “brother” Clifford Bowe for his generous response to my GO FUND ME appeal.
