COMMONWEALTH LAWYERS ASSOCIATION MEETING AT GRAND HYATT BAHA MAR

NASSAU, Bahamas, September 4, 2021 – Lawyers from across the Commonwealth are currently in Nassau for the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA) Conference being held at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar September 5—9.

GRAND HYATT BAHA MAR: In its promotion for the conference on its website, CLA states: “In partnership with our hosts, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, we are offering CLC2021 delegates, that have paid in full, 5-star accommodation room rates at an exclusive fee of just $179* per room, a night.

Established in 1986, the CLA “seeks to uphold the rule of law by encouraging exchanges between members of the profession through projects, conferences and workshops and by driving improvements in legal education,” according to the CLA’s website. “CLA regularly engages with other Commonwealth organisations on Commonwealth working groups and projects and is an accredited partner organisation of The Commonwealth.”

The website adds: “CLA holds a conference in a Commonwealth member state every two years. Our last conference was in Livingstone, Zambia in April 2018 and the next will be in The Bahamas in September 2021…CLA also supports a number of smaller, regular events throughout the Commonwealth.”

In its promotion for the conference on its website, CLA states: “In partnership with our hosts, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, we are offering CLC2021 delegates, that have paid in full, 5-star accommodation room rates at an exclusive fee of just $179* per room, a night.

“If you are joining us from a developing country, book early to take advantage of one of 300 available rooms at $159* per room, per night and the Grand Hyatt is allowing up to four people per room.”
