Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper speaking with a group of students who represented The Bahamas at the World Scholars Cup in London

LONDON — Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper posted a collection of photos on Facebook on Saturday, July 29, 2023, of a recent trip to London. We decided to share some of them with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. The Deputy Prime Miniter posted the photos with the following narrative:

LONDON UK: What a treat it was to spend time with a group of young intelligent Bahamians who represented their school and our country at World Scholars Cup. They were from Aquinas College, Lyford Cay School and St John’s College, but they were all proud to represent The Bahamas.

We wished them well as we celebrate academics.
