DPS TORCHON-NEWRY PAYS COURTESY CALL ON AMBASSADOR COLLIE

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Mr. Eugene Torchon-Newry, Deputy Permanent Secretary in The Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and his family paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Sidney Collie, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS), on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at the Embassy of The Bahamas, 2220 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W. A career Foreign Service officer, DPS Torchon-Newry currently heads the International Relations Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has served in various capacities at the Ministry and in several of The Bahamas’ Overseas Missions, including in Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Miami, Havana (Cuba) and Washington D.C.
