SOUTH ANDROS, Bahamas — Dr. Leon Higgs, a native of South Andros who has had a distinguished career as an educator, is pictured with students of the 11th grade at South Andros High School and Principal Sheena Duncombe (far right) after addressing the school’s assembly on Friday, October 5, 2018. Dr. Higgs presented five copies of his book, “Barefoot to Boardroom”, to Mrs. Duncombe to added to the school’s library. Born at Deep Creek, South Andros, on May 15, 1948, Dr.Higgs published his autobiography, “Barefoot to Boardroom”, in September of 2017.
