FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, October 21, 2019 — The Rotary Clubs of Grand Bahama continue to demonstrate “absolute fidelity” to Rotary International’s motto, SERVICE ABOVE SELF, as their members have established an ongoing presence in the vanguard of restoration efforts being carried out in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, which caused massive destruction in Grand Bahama and Abaco when it slammed into those two northern Bahamian islands the first week of September.
In a post of Facebook, six Rotarians are pictured in a photo accompanied by the following caption: “A happy and emotion filled day for Pelican Point, East Grand Bahama, as Rotary Clubs of Grand Bahama, through the kind assistance of donors, delivered building supplies for home reconstruction. Rotary thanks Equinor for their support.”
