VALETTA, Malta, May 23, 2019 — H.E. Ellison E. Greenslade, QPM, Bahamas High Commissioner to Great Britain and Northern Ireland, presented his Letters of Commission appointing him as Non-Resident High Commissioner of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Republic of Malta with residence in London and Letters of Recall of H.E. Eldred E. Bethel, former High Commissioner of The Bahamas to Malta to the H.E. Dr George Vella, President of the Republic of Malta, at the Presidential Place in Valletta. The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mrs. Kimberly Greenslade, wife of the High Commissioner; Mrs. Hilda Ellul-Mercer, Honorary Consul of The Bahamas to Malta and Mr. Marché A. Mackey, Third Secretary/Vice Consul at the High Commission.
The High Commissioner and President engaged in discussions on bilateral and multilateral issues: including Climate Change; Ocean Management; the Commonwealth; The Bahamas and Malta’s re-election to the Council of the International Maritime Organization.
