GREENSLADE WELCOMES DESMOND EDWARDS AND FAMILY TO HIGH COMMISSION

LONDON, England – His Excellency Ellison Greenslade, QPM, Bahamas High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, welcomed Ambassador to UNESCO H.E. Desmond Edwards along with his wife and son to The Bahamas High Commission, 10 Chesterfield Street, Mayfair, on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.  The Government of The Bahamas appointed Mr. Edwards as Ambassador and  Permanent Delegate to UNESCO on October 3, 2017. A Counsel and Attorney-at-Law, he is a senior partner at Desmond Edwards and Co. Attys.  Mr. Edwards is no stranger to the public service, having previously served as a Senator from April 1997 to January 2002 and Stipendiary and Circuit Magistrate for three years.
