NASSAU, Bahamas, June 6, 2023 — MP for Nassau Village Jamahl Strachan, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, posted a collection of photos on Facebook on Tuesday, June 6, that we decided to share with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and, of course, The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. The photos were posted with the following narrative:
“Today, I, along with Prime Minister Philip Davis, Minister Fred Mitchell, Minister Wayne Munroe, other members of the Cabinet and my fellow Parliamentarians, broke ground on the Nassau Village Multipurpose Community Center, commemorating a monumental milestone in the Constituency.
This Multipurpose Centre will serve as the epicenter of civic program, and community outreach in our joint effort to build a STRONGER VILLAGE.
Senator Roni Duncombe, who attended the event, also posted a photo on his Facebook page and noted:: “It was a privilege to be a part of history in Nassau Village today, as ground was broken on the Nassau Village Multipurpose Community Center commemorating a monumental milestone in the Constituency. Nassau Village is in great hands with Jahmal Strachan, MP, a man who is from Nassau Village.
