HAWKSBILL HOMECOMING AND BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2023 WAS A TOTAL SUCCESS

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama — Harold A Williams, Senior Director of the Airport Authority West Grand Bahama, who is an alumnus of Hawksbill Senior High School, on Sunday, August 6, 2023, posted a collection of photos on Facebook, and we decided to share some of them with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. Hawksbill Homecoming and Basketball Tournament 2023 was a total success. Congratulations to Pinedale EMR who won the bragging rights for the best community team from West GB. My Hawksbill team won the Silver medal and Hanna Hill won the bronze medal.

Congratulations to all the other young men from Hunters, Pinders Point and Sunrise Subdivision for representing your communities and playing so well.

Thank you to Ross Burrows and Pastor Darrin Rolle and all of the coaches for making the tournament a success. I’m still bragging about my bronze medal for the old timers 3-point shootout contest. Lol…. It was a lot of fun.
