HIGH-LEVEL BAHAMIAN DELEGATION PAYS COURTESY CALLS OF SEVERAL FOREIGN MISSIONS IN LONDON

A high-level Bahamas delegation paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Ruchi Ghanashyam, High Commissioner of India in London, on Thursday morning, July 18, 2019. LONDON, England –His Excellency Ellison Greenslade, Bahamas High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, and a high-level Bahamas delegation paid courtesy calls of top diplomatic representatives of several countries with missions in London on Thursday, July 18, 2019

The Bahamas delegation also paid a courtesy call on H.E. Manisha Gunasekera (center), High Commissioner of Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in London.

In addition to the High Commissioner,  the delegation included  Ambassador Denise Lewis-Johnson, Chairman of  The Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA); Mr. Peter Goulandris, Deputy Chairman of the BMA;  and Mr. Bernis Pinder, Bahamas High Commission Liaison Officer to the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

The Bahamas delegation paid courtesy calls on Her Excellency Ruchi Ghanashyam, High Commissioner of India, which High Commissioner Greenslade later described in a tweet as an “excellent bilateral meeting which covered a range of important topics and allowed us to affirm our good relations with India.”

Courtesy calls were also paid on H.E. Manisha Gunasekera, High Commissioner of Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka;  the Acting Head of Mission at the Norwegian Embassy in London;  and the Embassy of The Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
