WASHINGTON, D.C., August 30, 2023 — Senator Roni Duncombe on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 posted a collection of photos on Facebook that were taken at Joey’s Restaurant Back to School Breakfast held at Gambier Primary School. I absolutely had to share some of them with readers of my online publication BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among the Bahamian diaspora across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.

At Gambier School Primary this morning it was a privilege for me to come out and support Joey “scrubber” Williams (Joey’s Restaurant) Back to School Breakfast Drive held at Gambier Primary School.
The looks on the kids’ faces was unforgettable; they truly appreciate the variety of the delicious breakfast options. Special thanks to Mr Williams for taking the time to feed all the children and staff at Gambier Primary School.
Congratulations to the new principal Ms. Strachan and the new teachers who begins this school year, as they has our full support.
This experience is a true testament to persons’ like Mr Williams who sees the importance of coming together to make a difference.
