LOS ANGELES, California — Kimberly King-Burns, a Bahamian in the Diaspora in the Los Angeles area, just posted this on her Facebook page with the following caption:
“See you Tuesday 12 November where I again moderate the “platforms + partnerships: content as brand and distribution package” discussion, which will also be broadcast live. #DigitalHollywood2019.”
Kimberly, who grew up in Harbour Island, was one of the first persons I featured in my BAHAMIANS IN THE DIASPORA column when I was Press, Cultural Affairs and Information Manager at The Bahamas Embassy in Washington, D.C. for four-plus years before the change of government in May of 2017. If you live in the Los Angeles area, be sure to highlight the November 12 date on your calendar and check out the event that Kimberly will moderate.
