LOS ANGELES, California — Kimberly King-Burns, a Bahamian in the Diaspora in the Los Angeles area, just posted this on her Facebook page with the following caption:
“See you Tuesday 12 November where I again moderate the “platforms + partnerships: content as brand and distribution package” discussion, which will also be broadcast live. #DigitalHollywood2019.”
Kimberly, who grew up in Harbour Island, was one of the first persons I featured in my BAHAMIANS IN THE DIASPORA column when I was Press, Cultural Affairs and Information Manager at The Bahamas Embassy in Washington, D.C. for four-plus years before the change of government in May of 2017.
