NASSAU, Bahamas — Residents want something more from their MP. What the residents and voters of Seabreeze want, and what I have put my focus on, is a human connection. They want to know that someone who stands up in Parliament as their representative IS actually THEIR representative.

Leslia Brice with PLP Leader Philip “Brave” Davis.

During the PLP NP Women’s Branch event on Sunday (July 18) I had the profound pleasure to share my experiences and what I’ve learnt from the great constituency of Seabreeze. I’ve learned that the people want to see and feel their representative. They want to be heard and they want to see ACTION.

With that said, I’ve listened to the people of Seabreeze and as a result, over the past few months I was able to:

  • Clear down over 100 lots and remove derelict vehicles.
  • Launch the LB’s Learning Academy, providing GLAT, BJC, and BGCSE assistance to more than 300 students in and outside Seabreeze.
  • Addressed numerous complaints of repairs needed within the community.

If I am afforded the opportunity to be the next MP for the great constituency of Seabreeze, I fully intend to do everything that is expected of me as an MP. I plan to work. I plan to serve. And most importantly, bring CHANGE!
