Dr. Eneia Theophilus was the guest facilitator for the Social Committee of the Ministry of Labour’s October staff development seminar.
NASSAU, Bahamas – The Social Committee of the Ministry of Labour on a monthly basis holds a Staff Development Seminar, and the topic of this month’s seminar, held at the Ministry’s head office in Charlotte House on Wednesday, October 24, was “Conflict Resolution in The Work Place.”
Dr. Eneia Theophilus, a Psychiatrist with the Public Hospital Authority stationed at Sandilands Rehabilitation Center, was the guest facilitator.
Dr. Theophilus holds a Bachelor of Science Degrees in Biology and Psychology from Acadia University, Canada; a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Ibero-American University, Dominican Republic; and did post graduate studies in Psychiatry at The University of the West Indies.
She assisted staff member in identifying signs of workplace conflicts and presented some conflict resolution strategies in the workplace to assist in maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
The seminar was organized by the Social Committee of the Ministry of Labour, whose Chairman is First Assistant Secretary Ricardo P. Deveaux.
