MTC RATIFIES THE NEW INCOMING SENIOR-PASTOR

NASSAU, Bahamas — On Monday, October 4, following a three-year long search, the officers and members of Mount Tabor Church unanimously ratified Pastor Dario Carey as the Incoming Senior Pastor.

Pastor Carey is expected to assume the role as the church’s new Senior Pastor, upon the official retirement of Mount Tabor’s Founder and current Senior Pastor, His Grace Bishop Neil C. Ellis at the end of December 2022.

This was announced by Bishop Ellis on his Facebook page on Tuesday, October, 2021.

“Bishop Ellis has been strategically preparing the church ministry for transition over the past nine years, ever since he first announced plans for his formal retirement,” the announcement noted.

Under the stellar leadership of Bishop Ellis, Mount Tabor will mark its 35th anniversary on February 13, 2022, and later, in August Bishop Ellis will also celebrate his 40th year as a preacher of the Gospel. Over his almost four decades in Christian Ministry, he has prepared and produced many notable sons and daughters in Ministry, such as Carey.

Bishop Ellis contends that, “There cannot be success, without a successor,” and looks forward to spending the next 15 months continuing to lead the Church through transition as they embrace the next phase of ministry and pastoral leadership. To God be the Glory!
