MY BELOVED WASHINGTON REDSKINS WINS FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 13, 2019 — My beloved Washington Redskins today picked up our first win of the season,  defeating the winless Miami Dolphins, 17-16, to improve our won-loss record for the season to 1-5. However, there is no reason for me to celebrate because in this match-up between arguably the two worst teams in the NFL this season, the Redskins almost allowed the Dolphins to win the game when the Dolphins scored a touchdown with seconds remaining, but they unsuccessfully attempted a  two-point conversion.

This victory has not changed my belief that my pre-season prediction that we are  headed to the Super Bowl this season is “wishful thinking,” but I am a dyed-in-the-wool Redskins fan for life and I shall be  pulling hard as hell every week that they surprise me and make it to the playoffs. Of course, that may mean winning the remainder of our games this season.  LET’S GO REDSKINS.
