OAS PERMANENT COUNCIL RECEIVES FINAL REPORT ON BAHAMAS GENEAL ELECTION HELD ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 17, 2024 — At its regular meeting today, the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) received the “Final report of the OAS Electoral Observation Mission deployed in The Bahamas for the general election of September 16, 2021.”,

Bahamas Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell spoke at the meeting. which was held in the Simon Bolivar room at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC.

The meeting was broadcast live — with interpretation in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese — on the OAS Website and the OAS Facebook page.
