PILOT CLUB OF NASSAU INSTALLS NEW PRESIDENT

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 17, 2023 – Anthia J. Butler was installed as the 50th President of the Pilot Club of Nassau on Friday , June 16, at the Baha Mar Convention Center, in Nassau, Bahamas.  Debbie Mott-Strachan, who was installed as Vice President, posted a collection of photos  on Facebook on Saturday, June 17, that we  decided to share with readers of BAHAMAS CHRONICLE, which has a huge following among Bahamians in the diaspora across the United  States, Canada, the United Kingdom and, of course The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. Mrs. Mott-Strachan posted the photos with the following narrative:

“Last evening, I was honored to be installed as Vice-President of the Pilot Club of Nassau along with our 50th President, Ms. Anthia J. Butler.

I would like to congratulate my fellow Executive members: President Elect, Debbie Smith; Secretary, Rhodnia Johnson; Asst Secretary, Kishlyne Johnson; Treasurer, Asenath Cartwright; Asst Treasurer, Donna Turnquest, who was also named Pilot of the Year; along with our Appointees and Coordinators as we Do more, care more and be more.

We were also pleased to have joining us for this special event Pilot Ann Marie Davis, spouse of the Prime Minister of The Bahamas.

What an evening this was!
