NASSAU, Bahamas — Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) Leader Philip “Brave” Davis, who is known to be die-hard sports fan, posted a message on his Facebook page on Wednesday, July 7, congratulating Bahamian professional basketball player Deandre Ayton for his sensational performance In the Phoenix Suns 118-105 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
According to PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5), “Phoenix Suns young stars Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton joined veteran Chris Paul in dominating the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals and Phoenix cruised to a 118-105 victory. Suns lead the series 1-0. Game 2 is Thursday in Phoenix.
“Thirty-six-year-old Paul had 32 points and nine assists in his first ever NBA Finals game, while Booker added 27, including 10-10 from the free throw line and six assists. Ayton was a beast inside, going 8-10 from the field for 22 points and grabbing a game-high 19 rebounds.”
